Tout à fait le genre de portes qu’on peut trouver dans le Sud !
J’adore ces pierres et cette lumière aussi, toujours bien sûr ! et cette petite rose sur la droite ….so cute !

  • Merci Corinne. Moi, j’aime bien la rose aussi!! i don’t normally like to have shadows cast by something that isn’t really in the picture, but I think it works OK here…I hope!

The subtle coloring & incredible stonework in this piece automatically makes this one another favorite. Are you sure you’re not a full time mason on the side? The number above the door is a nice touch as well.

  • Thanks Marsha. If I was a mason I’d be rich by now, because I built this wall in a day!

I love the selection of colors you used for the door! They really help draw the eye to it! Excellent piece!

  • Burnt Sienna an Ultramarine…my favourites for creating any browns or greys. Also a wash of permanent Rose over the bottom panel which is a sheet of rusty metal. I think that helped!!

    Thanks Ken!

You really have an eye for details, Ian! This is so well done and looks almost like a photo!!!

  • I don’t know if that’s good or bad Andrea but I’ve just been looking at it and can’t quite believe that it was actually me that did it. oh well…..
