Lovely work, Ian, and aren’t you lucky to have such a fabulous church in your home town! Are there other domes like that in the area or is it as unique as I’m guessing? AMR
Thanks Anne.This is different from the other churches in the area and has a tower more in the syle of the domes of the cathedrals at Angoulême and Perigueux.

Thanks Marsha. The trees are lime(or linden) trees and at the time of this painting had just been pollarded. They do this every five or so years to stop the trees from getting too big I suppose.
