Many thanks Varry, truly a subject that I enjoyed rendering. Even more enjoyable to be around him, he truly has an aura that affects you when you are near.

Brilliant work :o)
Hi Karen, many thanks for the feature. I enjoyed working on this image. The acknowledgement is well received.
yes, indeed, he is an amazing being, but, being present, in his presence, is another thing, well done Riyaz. !! ..tim
Many thanks Tim. I have been fortunate to have been in his presence a couple of times, once while he was sitting right where Buddha sat under the Bodhi tree. Very fortunate, that day, a leaf fell from the tree onto my shoulder. The photo that the drawing was based on was not one of my own images though.
Thanks again for your great support Christopher
Congratulations, beautiful work !

Congratulations on your feature 18 December 2010
Kimba, thank you for the feature, drawing the Dalai Lama was a labour of love.
Never trust a monk who does not laugh and the Dali Lama is the best example of that. There is too much in this world to cry about; only enlightened people see what there is to laugh about too.
Thank you Michael. This man is a blessing to the world, a true role model who’s message is beautiful and timeless. To be within his aura is a wonderful feeling.
