Elderly Woman, Khokana, Nepal, Ink Drawing by

A rendition in ink of a woman in a small town in Nepal. Done from a photograph I took in 2005, it is my first attempt at a realistic portrait. Done with Rotring Rapidograph 0.18 & 0.13 pens using dots (pointilism) to create the image.
Paper is 210gsm Cartridge Eraldo di Paola Field Pad. 15cm x 10cm .

    Fantastic work!

  • Thank you Richard, there was actually a feeling of pride when I had placed the last dot on the page and sat back for a look. I really enjoyed doing this, I’ll just have to go back to Nepal to get more photos to play with. Damn! Heh Heh Heh. Sorry about the late reply.
