It’s a tee. It’s a dress. It’s the new Graphic T-shirt Dress.

Sorry friends

I haven’t been particularly active lately. I’ve been travelling quite a bit, several trips to France and a single trip to Italy. All of these with work. In between a private little trip to the refuge of the big forests of Sweden.
The latest couple of weeks have been busy with guests in the house.
But now I’m looking forward to the doldrums of the next couples of weeks’ vacation at home and to develop and upload some of my loads of images….
See you soon.

Homepage Feature!

What an amazing surprise! My “Sophienstrasse, Berlin #1” is on the RB homepage today, July 22th 2011.

This is my first, and it’s such a great honour.
Thank you.

Advice needed!

Well, some of you know how I had my good, old Panasonic FZ-50 stolen, how I’ve been struggling to get accustomed to my new Canon EOS 500D and how I miss a live-view in the viewfinder.
I’ve now shot more than 4,000 images with my Canon, and I just can’t stop thinking about the missing live-view, which, to me, really is a great advantage to digital photography.
I’ve been shooting at known places, like the beaches, as well as at new places. I’ve even started to shoot candids downtown, for which the Canon is very good at. But, I can’t help thinking, that some “expression” is lacking from my nature shots. Also, I seem to struggle a lot more to have the proper processing in my beloved Lightroom.

So, I’ve thought about some drastic changes, and…

Home again

Hello there,
Thanks very much to those of you who send many a good wish for my vacation.
I’m back home again from the most wonderful trip to and vacation in Greece.
Just imagine – our niece and her husband from Cyprus have to flats in a new building. One at the top and one at the bottom. The bottom one is intented to become a workplace for the husband’s liberal trade, but he has no rush, and in the meantime we can live there as much as we like.
Furthermore, they’d arranged a week-end at a hotel in Itea, some 200 km NW of Athens along the coast. There were mountains, and they had reserved the finest room at the hotel to us. At the top floor with an eourmous terrace with the most wonderful view to the sea, the marina and the mountains.
I still have bruises in my arm, bec…

On holidays

Hello there,

Just to let you know, tomorrow me and my wife take off for a one-week holiday. This time to Athens, Greece.
We have a niece down there, she lives in Athens with her husband from Cyprus. During the Whitsun week-end we all go to Itea, a local holiday resort along the coast of the Crissaean Gulf, some 120km northwest of Athens.

So you will not see me around for the next week or so. I hope to return with lots of photos from Greece.

Take good care of yourself. See you.

Double top ten placings and a feature!

Gee! My good, old Solitude has been voted into top ten of the Black and White – No More Color group’s “All about the horse” challenge.
At the same time “Solitude” has been featured in this group.

AND, my just as good and even older In the Stillness of the Forest has been voted into top ten of the Glitter, Sparkle & Shine group’s “The Shine of Light amongst the Trees” challenge

This is a great honour to me.
Thank you very much to those who has voted for these, and to all who in other ways supports my work.

Sorry guys!

I’m sorry that I have been away for so long.
Ironically, I spent the whole summer looking forward to some quieter times in autumn just to find myself even more busy now. I came home from Belgium to find some “heavy” (read:challenging) work tasks. In between I have been in Copenhagen to join a meeting in our standards-forum. These meetings are always most rewarding, just imagine, to discuss matters with people occupied with the same challenges at work as myself. I managed to join my grandson’s 4th birthday party before I went back to find that my work tasks had grown considerably.
To make matters worse, we’ve had, and still have, some powerful snowstorms around. Now there’s just as much snow as we had in February! So I’m digging to make sure I can ge…

First, I’m sorry for not having been much around and commenting lately. But I can assure you, that I have been looking to check your beautiful photos whenever I had the time.
Kind of strange times. I’ve been busily living through summer and looking a little forward to some calmer days in the autumn just to find myself even busier now!
I had a very nice trip to Paris, I saw two laundries from the inside, had a very nice lunch at Restaurant L’oulette, a meeting with a lawyer at a very fancy address in downtown Paris, and saw quite a bit of the city from a car, the Notre Dame and the Arc of Triumph amonst other things.
Tomorrow I shall go to Belgium to see another laundry from the inside! I’ll be back late Friday or early Saturday.
Most frustrating, though, is that I do …
