The other morning I was walking close to the water on my favourite beach. The night had been cold, and the sprays from the waves had frozen on these branches.

It was cold, but the worst was the ice-covered, slippery small boulders I had to walk on to get close enough.

This is superb. Our weather has turned very very cold at present and also very sunny, Why is it when you get a sunny day in Winter it is always freezing? Fantastic shot.

I think it’s because the clouds offer some sort of insulation when they’re here. When they are not, all warmth disappears.
