The White Point
This particular place is called The White Point. It consists of a stone gathering on the beach stretching several hundred feet out in the water. Out there it’s called the White Point Reef, and many a small craft has had intimate contact with the hard rocks lying just a couple of feet below the surface.
On both sides are stretches of wonderful, sandy beaches.
As you see, the sky was quite unusual this day.
Taken on the west coast of the Danish island of Bornholm in The Baltic Sea.

Very beautiful picture Kofoed taken at a moment the sky was so exceptional.I like the foam between the dark brown rocks and that water splash on the right. The overall brownish tones make it a marvellous pic to hang on a creamy wall.Très chic!!

Looks very unforgiving for craft Kofoed!! Amazing sky…wonderful ‘moody’ image!! *-)

It is unforgiving indeed. There used to be a buoy out there, but that must have been cacelled for some reason.

I simply love this, Kell. The overall color scheme is wonderful. You have a way of bringing the sea into your heart and it shows in your photographs. You captured the splash on the rocks (to the right when viewing this picture) in perfect form! You can feel the movement. The clouds add the depth. It is perfection.
Kofoed replied
Thanks awfully, Judi Dear. Your lovely and heart-felt comments are so wonderful. I’m so happy about your words on the sea, as this has always meant something special to me. Maybe because I literally grew up on the waterfront.
