Well, I hadn’t intended to upload this, but this is my lovely wife, Lillian, picking the first oranges in her life. Shortly after taking this, I picked the fist oranges of my life as well…..

She is lovely Keld … I think I would enjoy picking oranges for the first time too. We only had peach trees up the street from me when I was growing up and I got to pick them fresh from the tree … that really is when they are best. By the way, I love the name Lillian … very sweet name for a very lovely lady.

She certainly is, Judi.
Strange, however, if you can grow peaces, can’t you then grow oranges as well? They are certainly best just from the tree. Completely different taste. I like oranges sweet, and these were really just as sweet as Lillian.
I would pass on your nice words to her – that is, if she knew I’ve uploaded this!

Very nice shot Kofoed..without your beautiful wife it wouldn’t have been half so good.
When I was young we had peach trees in the garden but no oranges.I know only of one place in Belgium where they grow oranges t.i. the Castle of Freyer.They grow them in containers and each winter they hibernate in the “orangerie” where they have cranes to take the orange trees out of the container and replace them with new soil.
(Another place to visit when you are in Belgium)

The last time photo I saw of your wife was on a beach and it was really cold and she had a coat on and sitting on a rock looking to her right. I have a feeling she enjoyed this moment better…....lol. Great photo Kofoed!!

You have an excellent memory, Theresa. That is correct. And it was quite cold. However, I’m not sure which moment she enjoyed most, she tried to claim a model fee after the stone shootings!
