I’m a newlywed at nineteen years old. I don’t know where I’d be right now without the support and the constant patience from my loving husband. He’s been a blessing to me. I grew up in Pennsylvania, and I’m still here. There might not be a lot to do around here, but I wouldn’t want to move. Travel? Definitely!! But I’d never pack my bags and move away. I have a cat named Smokey,.. and I love her to death. She’ll be our only “kid” for awhille. We’ve decided to wait until our mid twenty’s for children. We need those couple of years to relax and basically just be together.
Ever since I was a little girl, I’ve been very artistic. I’ve always loved playing with paints, pencil, even crayon. When I picked up my first camera back in 2003 (being thirteen or fourteen years old), I absolutely fell in love with the art. I’d stay up for hours looking at all these talented artists on Betterphoto.com, deviantART.com, and the few other websites that I visited at that time. I got pretty good at teaching myself.. and I learned pretty quick how to take a pretty good photo with a pretty terrible camera. At that time I was using a Fuji A210. Some of those images are still displayed here now.. and some of them are my more popular ones, actually. (Blue, Cat Study, and It’s a Dog’s Life) I’ve got a Canon Rebel 300D now,... and although it’s still not top of the line, it’s an excellent camera, and it’s taught me a lot about photography. I still do some traditional artwork,.. which may be displayed here in the future, but like I said.. photography is my main focus. :)
