My name is Karen Marie and I am a professional portrait artist in Paso Robles, California. I specialize in family portraiture and fine art landscape photography.
From the rocky coastlines of the Central Coast to the rolling hills and vineyards of Paso Robles, I love photographing the landscapes and historical architecture of California. Much of my inspiration is found in old buildings, bridges, stone gates and doorways. My belief is that the simplicity of these images along with their textures and colors, combined with just the right amount of light and shadow, will create interest to the viewer and inspire their imagination.
As a natural light photographer my never ending quest is to discover the power of light and how to use it to transform the ordinary into the extraordinary.
