Back in the summer we got a 2 year old called Jake. He is still a big (16.2h) baby and was always chewing what ever he could get hold of. Unfortunatley he got hold of Flo’s mane and chewed a great big chunk out of the middle of it and we had to pull it!!
It is everyones individual preference but we liked hers au natural and let it grow. It is slowly getting back to how it was!
Jake then decided to chew her tail and Hectors tail! Luckily he has stopped this now :o) It was all new to us, we had never had a horse so young – we know for next time!

Wow, love this! Great impact and then of course, the beautiful Flo. I like the mane long and flowing, too. I was noticing in the other photo how beautiful Flo’s mane is and none the worse now for Jake’s attention:-)
