okay these are doves caught on my way home from work on 3rd november time 4.49pm so starting to get to dusk, grey sky all day and low light.
with my compact canon powershot A3100 as

I love and admired parmi work and loved the image emotional Distance

because of the layers and texture and feeling I get from the image and many more of his works. But also his support and encouragement in my growth in my photography.

I am also inspired by Ursula Rodgers her delicate use of layers and how she see the world through her lens. Her image keep me warm

I hope you can see with these images I love and why I had wanted to try something of my own with birds.

I tried to use layers and textures and blending for the image but nothing worked I did not get anything like I wanted but in the end I decided to drop it in to Efex pro 3 colour and see what effects I could get. When this popped up I just thought this is different I like this. Done in Bleach by pass and slight tonal contrast.

Hope you enjoy.

My birds on a wire adventure and trials will continue I have been aware of a place that lots of birds sit on wires over a pig filed it is just finding a place to stop and the right sky and the time.

Please comment welcome and advice and if you do not know the 2 members I have mentioned Please go and look at their portfolios you will not be disappointed

I do like the stark simplicity of this karen, and the placement within the frame

  • Thank you Carol just how the compact took it, a very quick point and shoot from the paverment no cropping or anything. Apreciate you looking at it and leaving a thoughtful comment : )

Karen, this is wonderful! Love the minimalist approach here, works so well. This would look so good as a huge canvas! A massive thank you for the mention, it’s always an honour to be inspiring someone with so much talent :)

When I saw the thumbnail I thought it must have been a bit of digital or vector art, then I realised it was a photo!! Nice work!
