Arch ways by Karen Betts

Taken inside Ely Catherdral, Cambridgshire Uk. 27.10.2009

Well the inside was wonderful so much to look at and photograph, if you knew what you were doing and had a tripod, both of which I did not have.

But love trying new things so twiddled the buttons on my camera set my ISO to auto range up to 3200 and went to have some fun. I took a lot of images most blurred and so bad but I learnt a lot and slowly getting to grips with low light photography. I have processed this one in Nixon Efex pro 3 just a little to being out the stonework a slight level changeand a tweak in something else i cannot recall must make notes as I work but little else done to it

Nikon D90 and Nikor 18 – 105vr lens

Focal length 18mm
F/. 4.5
Exposure 1/15th sec and _1 step
ISO 3200

Hand Held, Aperture Priority, ISO to Auto

A Magpie when it comes to photography I capture anything and everything that captures my eye and lens. A beginner in this field I love how the ordinary becomes less ordinary.
