Strength be within, Ely Catherdral Cambridgshire
This is Ely catherdral, and the clock tower is where the main front entrance is to this most inspiring, beautiful and all handcrafted work by man, taking over 100 years ago to create. There is beautiful stained glass windows, impressive views from the roofs, and so much to see inside, and althou it has lots of tourists it presence with in is still a house of god with hourly prayers read out.
I did not like the colour version of the image just could not get my colour balance right,so i was going to delete the image but thought i would just play around with it in b&W and this is what appeared. I just love the clouds coming forth across the sky just has a feeling about it, but i cannot put my finger on it, possiably you can. But i liked it and so have kept it.

WOW what a sky! Works really well in b&w and makes it even more powerful. Just one little thing Karen…there are a couple of “dust bunnies” to the left of the image which are slightly distracting, easily removed in PS though :-))
