Rust and Cob Webs. Natural Light
This beautiful rusty can was in the water wheel Hall at Abbydale Industrail hamlet, this work room was a treasure trove of old tools and cans saw benches what would of been used in the 1800.
There was very little light through the small windows so i was having to learn about ISO settings, and holding the camera as steady as i could as no tripod. So as i went about snapping away a big learning curve for me but enjoyable.

Lovely light and ‘rustic colours’.
Karen Betts replied
Thanks Rob a new area for me to learn about as only orange lighting and little natural light. Hence the orange glow on the walls facing into the workshop.

Karen Betts replied
Im afraid im not a natural at all with ISo no idea what i was doing just having a go. Camera set on “P” setting and iso meter up higher, once i figured out how to do that. But it was great to try it and im pleased that i managed to get anything at all.

Thanks Karen … will take you up on that offer. When in doubt I point andf shoot too!!
Karen Betts replied
I have found having it on “P” setting helps a lot and stops the flash firing as i got a lot of that when and if you have it in Auto focus mode or Auto on the dial top left. Mind you may be way ahead of me on the technical side.
