A Little Nauti
Chambered Nautilus Nautilus pompilius can usually be found on the sea floor at depths of 150m+, it swims into shallower water at night to prey on small fish. Nautilus use their strong sense of smell to track their prey, and because of their ability to adjust the distribution of gas with each chamber, are deft at moving through the water column. DEPTH RANGE: 200-300 m. DISTRIBUTION: PNG, central Indo-Pacific.
