My bf has mentioned wanting to take an image from Dr. Seuss’ GO DOG GO and have it made into a poster for his son’s room. I would LOVE to go a step further and see about having a vinyl cut-out made but have no idea how to do that. The coloring of the illustration could use some lightening and brightening too. ANY suggestions or ideas would be greatly appreciated!!
PS his bday is next friday. Itd be awesome to have it done in time but not necissary

That sounds like a lot of fun… but [and I don’t mean to sound like a downer here] – you could be infringing copyright by doing as you suggested.
Now, if you painted it by hand onto the wall of your son’s room – you would probably be fine… but I would suggest being careful.
Perhaps try looking for an licensed version for sale.
