The Chapel of the Holy Cross in Sedona, Arizona (USA) was designed by Marguerite Brunswig Staude with Richard Hein. Ms Staude was a student of Frank Lloyd Wright and solicited his input. Completed in 1956, it is the most revered landmark in Sedona. This Roman Catholic landmark has a large cross, which appears to rise skyward from the red rock cliff to support the building’s structure.

I am deeply concerned about environment, wildlife, and animal welfare, feeling a strong commitment to leaving the planet in better shape for new generations. Therefore, I support a number of charities that reflect those interests.

I have a degree in English and Library Science, but if I had my life to live over, I would have loved to have been a photographer, writer, and/or National Park ranger.

This is beautiful Nancy and the colors are awesome!!

  • Thank you, Deb. All of Sedona has bright orange and red cliffs. Shooting in “vivid” puts even more pizzaz into the color.

This is beautiful Nancy and who does one get up there???

  • There is a drive to the top and a handicap ramp when you get there. The chapel is very simple, but very, very moving. Thank you, my friend.
