Desert Watchtower at the eastern entrance to the Grand Canyon National Park has a gift shop with a window view that beats all. Located in Arizona (USA), the Grand Canyon is world famous for its geological time clock going back millions of years. Carved by the Colorado River, and at least a mile deep, it is a wonder to behold.
I have always cared, perhaps too deeply, about environment, wildlife, and animal welfare. Therefore, I support a number of charities that reflect my interests. I have a degree in English and Library Science. But if I had my life to live over, I would have loved to have been a photographer, writer, and/or National Park ranger.
