Goodbye ...

This is for my two friends that i have known for 15 years, Barry & Carol Booth.
I met Barry on my 30th birthday, and his wife Carol a couple of days later.
My hubby had organised a surprise ride in a Corvette for my birthday as i have always been a fan of these wonderful cars.
Barry turned up at our house and took me for a drive in his black and silver anniversary addition ‘76Vette, it was going to be a round trip in the one car, we went for a half hour drive and got chatting and we had heaps of things in common, he took a liking to me and we stopped at his dads and yes i got driven home in his ‘73 yellow vette, i was in heaven….
Carol called me a couple of months ago and told me she had cancer and wasnt going to make it, she passed away early december.
we saw Barry at her Funeral a couple of weeks ago..
Xmas was hard obviously to hard as Barry committed suicide before new years so we are off to his funeral on monday..

    This is such a tragic story Kristina…what kind of torment must Barry have been experiencing, that he felt he had to take his life…If i could, I would give you a big hug Kristina…this is a beautiful tribute in their memory!!

    thank you for the big hugs george, i spoke with barry a couple of times and he was very tormented, he was being watched 24 hours a day, until he managed to be alone, now he’s gone.. i do hope that i have done the right thing by telling there story..:(( k

    This is the best image of a rose I have ever seen. It is made even more special as a tribute to your friends whose pain was unbearable because of having to leave one another. These things are never easy but at least they are not forgotten.
