Sloan’s Lake, Denver, Colorado.
I really didn’t think the sky was going to amount to anything and as such, I almost packed in all my gear and headed home. Instead I figured better and decided to relax and unwind on a park bench with my pooch. I suddenly started noticing little hints of color here and there and thought that maybe I would get something. 5 minutes later my thoughts were answered with a resounding “I am going to have a sunset I will always remember!”. The sky started turning shades of deep purple, red, violet, orange and blue and I was over the moon. Photographed as a long exposure to get the water smoothed out and to expose correctly for the lights, welcome to my little area of the world!
