Barr Lake State Park, Colorado

Evening thunderstorms here in Colorado can be quite the treat during the hour summer days, cooling everything down just before the evening. This storm has just passed over us in the minutes before, a supercell actually, which lead to tornado warnings further out on the eastern plains. Even the trail isn’t fully dry yet…It sure made for some dramatic photography however!

    I love that you captured the “new spring greens” in this shot as well, it really helps tie the piece together. Beautiful!
