Generally as a rule of thumb, I am really against setting subject matter dead center in the viewfinder. Once in awhile, I break that rule because I think it works. This is one of those cases with this photograph here.
Captured at Pawnee National Grasslands in Colorado, this old farm house really got my attention …standing in the middle of no where with nothing around for miles and miles, it really kind of makes you think…think about the stories it could tell…I love subject matter like this! All about ‘rural decay’ as I call it.
Honestly, the image itself reminds me something out of a Pink Floyd song lol
I also have a second version of this shot that is processed a tad differently and cropped to a square format that I will be uploading in the coming days as well. Stay tuned!
I hope you all like it
