Honestly, I love Autumn in Colorado, and I love to be able to photograph the Elk rut. Often times the female Elk (cows) get overlooked, but when we rounded the corner and saw this, I quickly grabbed my Puffin Pad and started shooting as fast as I could. This just isn’t something one sees every single day lol It was quite comical, watching the Elk’s reaction to the Magpie …if only animals could talk, I tell ya lol If you want to see the entire sequence of events, I have it on my website, and I think many of you would get a chuckle.
