I am such a sucker for Aspen stands during Autumn. I love the sound they make with the leaves rustling as the wind lightly blows through them, unique to say the least, they are called “Quaking Aspens”. For this shot I really wanted to try and capture the textures and the overall feeling during Autumn. Much of the black marks that you see are actually caused from the Elk eating the bark of the trees. Captured in Rocky Mountain National Park, Colorado, using my Minolta 5D, Minolta 50mm f1.7 lens and a CPL.
I hope you all like it
