Okay, really, calling him McPain makes him seem kinda like a badass. Just sayin’. I expect a dude named McPain to drill for oil with his bare hands, fight the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan with the armies of his left and right arm, respectively, and to make the dollar stronger by becoming its unforgiving personal trainer.

  • John De Bord P... replied

LMAO! A personal trainer LMAO! Where is a political cartoonist when ya need one!

You would rather have four years of a confirmed Muslim Socialist? I would rather be dead.
He stated in an interview with George Stephanopulos that he was Muslim than quickly corrected himself. Guess most people don’t care about trivial things like being a socialist either…

  • John De Bord P... replied

lol Muslim? He isn’t Muslim. And I have lived in Europe as well, amongst it’s citizens, where the quality of life is MUCH higher in many regards than it is here. People hear the word “Socialism” and many run, but when it comes to healthcare, I would gladly have the system I had in Germany compared to here any day. Not even close. Honestly, what are the chances of McCain finishing out his term at 72? Are you SURE you want Palin as President and Pelosi as VP? I don’t. Republican ideals of feeding the rich are dead. People are sick of it.

The American People refuse to educate themselves on politics and instead believe things they hear from each other or from other unnamed sources. Dyle Warren, Senator Obama is not a muslim…he is christian. He was named after his father and grandfather whose names are Semetic meaning blessed by God and Hussein meaning good and handsome….
John, this is a great image…I totally agree!!! and it’s great that your work can spark such debates and hopefully educate those who are reacting out of fear and ignorance.

  • John De Bord P... replied

Thank you Rochele, it is amazing how many Americans are totally intolerant….sad really

Rochele, don’t underestimate me as I have most likely read more on Sen. Obama than most liberals. He asserted he was Muslim on video so he can’t get out of that one. I suppose it was just a slip of the tongue or the video was doctored in some way.

I’ve read his books and with that I’m going to pull the race card but I suppose you are blind to his quotes or his association with Rev. Wright. Oh yes, I know, he doesn’t support everything the reverend preaches. Forget about the fact that he was remotely (ha) associated with Ayers and just coincidentally lives in the same neighborhood as Ayers and Louis Farrakhan. Excluding all that lets just say I’m not fond of liberals.

If an Anglo with the same ideologies as Barack were running against American political activist and former diplomat, Alan Keyes, there wouldn’t be any question that I would vote for Keyes and he is literally blacker than Obama.

  • John De Bord P... replied

Honestly, what would it matter if he WAS Muslim anyhow? It doesn’t.

LOL Ayers? he was 8 years old, you do realize that right? And I think he pretty much covered the rest in the 3rd debate. Ya know, my Aunt lived in the same neighborhood as Dahmer, I guess that makes her a serial killer then too doesn’t it? lol

Who cares what color someone is. Honestly. Geeze….race, religion, what next? So you are saying you aren’t voting for Obama cause he is black?

FYI I am a registered Indy, I am not either Dem or Repub, but the country now is hurting, and that is an issue which can’t be denied. And the GOP has done nothing to advance us except cater to big corporate America, which is now coming back to bite them in the rear with the economy tanking.

Sorry, John to take up more space on this but…I had to respond to Dyle…Ms. Warren, I guess I live in the same neighborhood as muslims, terrorists, and mayors…along with school teachers, preachers, bus drivers, and nuns…because I live 10 minutes North of Barack Obama and Ryers and Louis Farrakhan…who live in the historic Hyde Park near The University of Chicago…and I live just east of Bridgeport, home of the Mayor of Chicago….in Chicago the neighborhoods are all connected. I’ve attended Reverend Wright’s church twice…before Senator Obama was even a Senator…and was amazed at the community work Trinity was doing…I never heard Rev. Wright speak of hatred…but I do understand his anger…
I didn’t even mention race in my comment…so I’m surprised that you would automatically “pull that card” which makes me wonder that you aren’t voting for Obama because he is bi-racial. And Dyle how can you say whose blacker than who…that’s racist unto itself. Most of the People not voting for Obama made up their minds before the Civil War.
I’m not underestimating you…but when you make comments that are obviously false…based on a doctored video or a slip of the tongue…I question your judgement. I’ve seen Bush, Palin, and McCain’s tongues slip frequently but I don’t judge them on that…Instead I judge them on their political stances and for the fact that Republicans for the past eight years have not only destroyed our economy but the world’s economy and has tarnished the image of America and Americans worldwide.

Good tee. And you don’t have “That Woman” living in your state, although fame and money make her more of a national disaster now.
