The Living Forest
Captured along the Mount Evans Wilderness in Colorado, the Bristlecone Pines are some of the oldest living things on planet Earth, many of which are thousands of years old. They look unlike anything else you have ever seen.
For this shot, I really wanted a “fine art” look and feel, and though I do have both a color and B&W of this, the sepia is ultimately what I chose to display it with, and I feel it gives teh best results.
Captured on my Minolta 5D using my Sigma 28-90 Macro lens, backed by a Hoya CPL.
Hope ya all like it!

This photo brings back memories of many wonderful days spent walking this area with my camera. The Bristlecone Pines are amazing! Great shot with a very moody feel – love the editing you’ve done, and that threatening sky.
