Wow this is amazing John. The colors and the flowers just glow; pure magic. Did you use a ND filter as well as the multiple exposures? I’m trying to work out what I want to buy so I can start working on landscapes; if you can do this with the HDR and no filter maybe I don’t need to buy much! (although my 18-55mm lens is crap, but that’s another post all together. :P)

My very first train trip from Ohio to Colorado I remember passing through fields and fields of sunflowers, through the hours of the day we could watch them tracing the sun through the sky. It was fascinating! Beautiful photograph and excellent processing!

Heaven on earth! Did you know that the sunflower is the symbol of the person whose gaze is always directed at the Son of God, whose focus is ever adjusting and readjusting to His presence, His call? That’s what this calls to mind for me personally, and I thank you for it. What a once in a lifetime shot! I’d love to play with my camera in that field for a while, but I doubt I doubt I could ever get anything this amazing!

This is a tremendous capture of an image that I’ve seen most of my life growing up in central South Dakota! The HDR really gives it the “brilliance” that I recall driving through those fields. Nostalgic for me… downright stunning!
