Aloha my good friends and RB family…........
Have been away for a few dayz…..........
One of my boyz and his wahini presented us with a long weekend get-away to Sedona Az..
Such good Boyz I have…......They love their “POPS”
Sedona was once a beautiful mystical place
However I am a bit disappointed with all the tourism there.
At one time Sedona was a quiet town where artists would go to “become one with Nature and their feelings”
Now it is “hustle and bustle” of the commercial crowd…........
The magic has disappeared …............the scenery is laced with homes, hotels, motels and condos….......Construction is overwhelming….........
So Sad….............................
I did take many beautiful photos of the area and will post and paint many….....
Hope you are all well and will try to catch up soon…........
Aloha

It is really sad what this kind of commerce can do, destroy the feeling of the very thing that brought the people here.
kjgordon replied
It was beautiful as far as the eye could see, but traffic just doesn’t seem to belong…..........

It is indeed sad, thank God we have our memories and the wonderful photographs, such as yours, that have preserved those moments for all eternity…......Alpha! KD

Wow! good for YOU! I was there about this time last year and thoroughly enjoyed the area. It truly is a mystical experience. Have you been to the Cathedral yet? Let me know when you do, it is such a spiritual place. Travel safely.
kjgordon replied
Been to the Cathedral many years ago…......
So much traffic and construction just drove past it this time…....
The drive up the canyon is spectacular….......

Well I hope that you had a great time anyway!! It was quite hectic when we were there in October with road-closures, but it’s a great place that I’m glad it not a secret anymore!! :-))
