How did you get all these images into circles? Or are they actually painted on round surfaces…. Anyway cool calendar and I love the circles my friend:)

these were created on old 331/3 vinyl albums…....
some from unassembled clocks…....
I get the clocks for the mechanisms to make clocks like this one.
In addition to painting I used dried pallette paint for the fish, plants, castles etc..

Cool…I have so old vinyl albums…did you put gesso on them before you painted them?

I dab on two coats of a good latex house paint then go at it….......

Cool…I love this…I just may have to try my hand at painting over some my old records….sorry to keep bothering you on this but what about the center, my records have an opening(LOL:)

so do mine….work around them or if you are using cut outs and pasting on ….....cover them….....
The hole adds to the piece sometimes….......
you are never a bother…...........glad to share ideas…....
I get my house paint by the gallon at Home Depot…......many times they have oops paint (wrong mixed color) for $5.00
I use that as a coating on all my paintings as I make my own frames and use any type of fabric I happen to have on hand…

kj, this is such a wonderful collection. Each month brings one to the magical sea of kjgordon and what a grand and colorful place it is. I have always adored these paintings on vinyl and making the calendar is a wonderful idea. Bravo to you!!!

wow… what a gorgeous calendar kj… i don’t think i’ve seen many of these before, i absolutely revel in the three dimensionality of your works..these in particular really make me smile, your works are so warm and full of life and joy
