The Tigers got through a tough season and just failed to make the finals but hey there’s always next year.
We have what’s called a salary cap which does not allow teams to buy up all the best players which in a way keeps the competition at a level playing field for all the teams it’s a bit of a bugger but it seems to work.
But it does open the door for players to seek more money in other codes such as Rugby Union or australian rules football.

I know what you mean….......most all sports except Major League Baseball has a salary cap…....The Yankees have the largest payroll in the majors…........As a matter fo fact just two palyers from the Yankees make more than some whole teams…......

Great tribute for a great team, the Salary cap in Football, and basketball seems to work well I miss the days when you got to see a team devlope and come together. The Yankees had an infield whose payroll was in excess of $ 100 million that is per year, but they earned their pay I like the Yanks, but my soul is with the Mets God bless em = )
