This is her son’s Lifeguard Tower in Oostkapelle, ...Netherlands…..(and I believe her father was a guard there back in the day).....taken in wintertime
The Guards sit on the balcony in front of the glass to have a view/watch over the beach and under the balcony there is the first aid room.
The word “strandwacht” is dutch for lifeguard._
