you are correct wahini a hammock would be nice…........
but this was created as a headboard for our bedroom…...
so no need for a hammock….....

wow you have given me an idea but not sure where we would get the wood from..can you believe we have lived here for 7 yrs now and we still do not have a headboard for our bed…hubby says he will make one…but still waiting…shame you are not closer you could do one for us!

well you could paint on the wall or simply go to a lumber yard and get some furring strips…....and fabric…....make a frame any size you wish and stretch the fabric…..Just like I do my frames…this one is 6feet by 6 feet…..then attach to the wall .viola.a headboard.
