This was taken coming back from an photo expedition of the sky tower. We found that you could drive to a point under the Auckland Harbour bridge and had an excellent view of the city and its lights. It was blowing a gale and made steadying the tripod a mission.
The lights from the traffic from the overhead bridge which I was standing under, added the beautiful chocolate mocha glow.
This one was my favourite because of the ranshackled pier. It had shells and barnacles all over it and because it was low tide, you were able to see them.
