Crusading for the Chiefs by Belinda Osgood
Clear

The challenge: to create a design in Apophysis using the Splits-Ngon Tutorial in one of the Superbowl Team Colour gradients kindly made and supplied by Jaclyn Hughes

We don’t have American football here, but we do have rugby and my region’s colours are red and black – so that became my starting point for choosing a gradient (plus, red is my favourite colour). A few American Football teams have those colours so from there I went with one that sort of had another connection. Our regional team name is the ‘Canterbury Crusaders’ and I decided the ‘Kansas Chiefs’ had a similar sound. It seemed as good as any way to choose. ;)

I love to create. It brings me great pleasure.

this is wonderfully creative…love the depth and perspective….gorgeous design Belinda.. :)

  • Many thanks, Pam, your words are such an encouragement to me. I really struggled to get something I liked for the challenge. Somehow putting the word ‘challenge’ up sent my apo work into a sulk. LOL

    LOL….I know how it feels sometimes!……… :)

  • I think sometimes we need a dose of the ‘Apo sulks’ – makes us more appreciative of when it works the way we want it to … I tend to be an optomist :D lol However, I don’t think I’ve ever seen an ‘off par’ fractal from you.

I might add, I know what you mean about that comment that made me laugh. That’s the reason I didn’t enter some of the other challenges we have had. Been there for sure. : )

  • Awww, I’m sure we all have, Sheila. I say enter anyway! I always think it looks better for the winner to be the winner out of 10 images rather than 9… ;)

    that’s ‘cos I don’t post them!!!……. :) :) :)

  • LOL! I bet if I peeked in your files I would see an array of hidden gems. ;) One day, when I grow up, I’ll be like Pam and will be able to post a fractal without resorting to something I’m not completely happy with…. hehehe
