    I really love this Sylvia -feels like you have taken a detail from a Walker Evan image and magnified it – feels like these boots have a story to tell.

  • ha! I feel like I live in a Walker Evans picture sometimes! but yes, I totally understand what you mean and am very flattered by the comparison. Shoes are so full of character and say so much about the people that wear them. This is a pair cherished by my other half, they have their story ;)

    Nice work K – the B/W comes up a treat – the blur and harsh light creates an interesting mood.

  • Another example from a lazy photographer. I shot this inside in natural light and probably should have used a tripod but you know I like a little blur :)

    I love everything about this shot!!!!! The b/w, soft blur (a little privacy please), and crop all add to a very powerful image. Well done, Kitsmumma!!!!
