Dangars Lagoon, Northern Tablelands, NSW, Australia by

Australian Fine Art Photographer, Dip of Fine Arts (Photography), whose work is inspired by a love of nature and the abstract.
My photographs concentrate on the light, lines, colour, shape and form found in nature…… from bushland to beaches, even my own backyard.
I hope to surprise and intrigue the viewer with my work and explore the notion that beauty exists everywhere…in the right light!

I love what you did with the treatment and the title reminds me of a former favourite group, Men Down Under. :-)

  • Thanks Lenny, it was Men at Work who wrote the song Land Down Under and are presently being sued for plaguerism by the people who own the rights to another aussie song called Kookaburra Sits in the Old Gum Tree! Will be interesting to see what happens.

You HAVE to be kidding! The group has been defunct for decades and someone who owns a children’s song is pissed? LMAO! “Who can it be now?” :-D

  • hahahaha!!
The song in question was written in the 30’s and the similarity was only brought up approx 2 years ago. Just think, if they win, they stand to receive a fortune, 20 yearsplus worth of royalties. The song was a hit in Australia, America and England in the 80’s and has featured in numerous ads, movies, etc. It’s mind boggling and apparently 2 of the members of Men at Work are personally liable because they wrote the song………………. I bet they are a little anxious right now!
