gorgeous!! how do you do this?

  • Thanks Helen.
This and all of these images were created by using panning in combination with slow shutter speed and generally low light conditions. It’s a lot of fun and very addictive!

thanks Kitsumma, it is gorgeous!!! i will try and understand what you said (i am still learning the words!) and try it – it is so beautiful when you do it!

  • In other words, move the camera as you take the shot! The slow shutter speed allows the movement to be captured and brings out beautiful colours but you need low light so that the shot is not overexposed (slow shutter = large aperture). It’s best to move the camera to work with the lines of the picture you’re taking, eg, horizontally works best for landscape shots, vertically for trees, flowers, etc. Give it a go, you’ll be surprised. Look forward to seeing what you create :)
