Wow, this is definitely the coolest take of the wickedest pair of gumboots I have EVER seen (and baby, I`ve seen lots!!). I should know what an Argoflex 75 is as it`s about as old as I am, but whatever it is, it made a great take in your hands. Amazing colors, a wonderful mixture of texture and form with bags of compositional vibe… this is one rockin’ shot!
Hey billyboy, yesiree, these are the coolest gumboots, I HAD to have them! An Argoflex 75 is a vintage TLR (twin lens reflex). They used to use 120 film. These days they are sought after for TTV (through the viewfinder) photography where you compose your photo through the viewfinder of the old camera and take a picture of the viewfinder with a digital. The square format is the actual frame from the Argoflex viewfinder. You need to crop your image once uploaded. It’s a little fiddly, takes a lot of coordination and patience, can be very frustrating but the end result is worth it plus I love the idea of giving a new life to these gorgeous old cameras. You should check out the TTV Group there is some amazing work in there. Appreciate your very cool and very rockin’ comment.

Oooo I love them! Nothing like looking sexy in the mud and rain. Beautiful rich colours TTV Princess!!
Aren’t they fab Jules. I trudged around in these this year. Would have come in handy a few years ago at a music festival I went to that got washed out and we ended up knee deep in mud…………..was a lot of fun!! The colours here are in my hallway………. I live in a colourful house.

VERY dashing gumboots Sylvia! Great shot and I love the bit of shiny reflection too.
I just bought a pair of Blundstones for gardening and I thought they were hot to trot but these beat those hands down..or should that be feet down?
They’re definately a fashion statement gumboot Rebecca and add a touch of class to any daggy gardening outfit but the best bit is that you just hose them off!! Chook poo, no worries, spray with the hose and it’s gone!! No more scraping!!
