EarthquakeBee
love that shade blue !
Kitsmumma replied
It’s gorgeous isn’t it, it’s actually the bottom of the swimming pool, found the poor moth floating in it and it’s wings were completely transparent.

Very nice Sylvia!

Hi lovely Rebecca, I’m so glad you like this even though it was taken under rather tragic circumstances…... found it floating in the swimming pool :O

Ah- I know the feeling! The butterfly I used in my “Suspension Bridge” is also deceased (like that Monty Python parrot). I found it just lying on the footpath looking perfect and untouched…must have been a gentle death at least.

awesome detail
how did u make it?
Kitsmumma replied
Thanks so much :D
It’s a macro photograph with the background removed. I found it floating in the pool and it’s wings were completely transparent, the blue is from the pool.

It’s quite alien like, almost metallic in places.
Kitsmumma replied
You only have to look to the insect world to see where we draw our ideas and notions of aliens from, sometimes I think they are already here :D
