Ghosts

Hi Sharon, Thank you. Yes it reminded me of snowy weather but I decided to go the ghost! So over winter…..bring on summer!

Yeah, I’m a bit over Winter….I’m sitting at the computer with a wheat bag draped over my knees. Very daggy indeed.

My laptop keeps my knees warm Sharon and my ugly ugg boots keep my feet warm, hey, I’m all for daggy in winter.

YES mumma, I can see him in the background, he’s huge (HUGO ?)!!!!! Dr Photoshop can certainly make the most of a humhum situation sometimes, nice work!!!!

Hey hugo!! Thanks for your comment. Yes, this was a boring shot originally but there is no Photoshop involved. I don’t now how to use Photoshop and I don’t have it (can’t afford it). The only thing I use is Picasa2 (free download) which really only allows me to adjust levels, crop, etc but in this case, it is just a straight negative of the original photograph. The trees came out very light as I took the photograph at dusk and they were silhouettes against a beautiful cloudy blue sky which came out brown in negative.

Really like the feelings moods you’ve created here – brittle against soft warm, bright against brooding, suface against depth. A good eye.

You must have had a wonderful nights sleep or at least a long sleep in this morning to be so wonderfully poetic at this hour of the day Robert. Outstanding work….literally. I was just looking through the ‘Abstract in nature’ group and this image just leaped off the page at me. I love all the filigree shapes among the branches and leaves, and the beautiful subtle shades in the background. Congratulations on this piece…it’s a real treat :-)
