Sharon Hammond
This effect works well. V wintery
Kitsmumma
Hi Sharon, Thank you. Yes it reminded me of snowy weather but I decided to go the ghost! So over winter…..bring on summer!
SylviaHardy
I love the sky in this shot and the white silhouette!
Kitsmumma
Hi Sylvia, it was a pretty boring shot originally and just looked so much better this way. Appreciate your comments. Thank you!
Sharon Hammond
Yeah, I’m a bit over Winter….I’m sitting at the computer with a wheat bag draped over my knees. Very daggy indeed.
Jessica Tremp
lovely work Kitsmumma, so dreamy
Kitsmumma
My laptop keeps my knees warm Sharon and my ugly ugg boots keep my feet warm, hey, I’m all for daggy in winter.
Deborah Parkin
another great image – this is sooo beautiful makes me want to touch it – you can feel it as much as see it. Love it.

Kitsmumma
Hi Jessica, thank you so much. Loved seeing pics of you out and about with other RB’ers. Looks like you guys had a ball!
Damian
I love the way this image has come up. The ghostly white trees, and the soft brown in the background. Very cool.
Helene Kippert
I like this one too Sylvia – great work!
AnaBanana
super cool I like it on convination with your pic from your shadow…. both really ghosty :0)
hugo
YES mumma, I can see him in the background, he’s huge (HUGO ?)!!!!! Dr Photoshop can certainly make the most of a humhum situation sometimes, nice work!!!!
Kitsmumma
Hey Damian, thanks so much. This shot just looked so much more interesting in negative.
Kitsmumma
Thank you Helene, I think it looks a little like a painting!
Kitsmumma
Hey AnaBanana, yes, I agree with you. I definately have a thing for shadows! So glad you like them too.
Kitsmumma
Hey hugo!! Thanks for your comment. Yes, this was a boring shot originally but there is no Photoshop involved. I don’t now how to use Photoshop and I don’t have it (can’t afford it). The only thing I use is Picasa2 (free download) which really only allows me to adjust levels, crop, etc but in this case, it is just a straight negative of the original photograph. The trees came out very light as I took the photograph at dusk and they were silhouettes against a beautiful cloudy blue sky which came out brown in negative.
alistair mcbride
Good graphic image,I like it.

Hey alistair, another early riser? Thanks for your comment. I’ve come to realise that I actually love graphic quality in images!

Kitsmumma
Hi Shanina, must admit I was very pleased with myself over this one and you are right it would look fantastic as a huge print (I’d better start saving). Thanks so much for your wonderful comment. Very happy.
Robert Knapman
Really like the feelings moods you’ve created here – brittle against soft warm, bright against brooding, suface against depth. A good eye.
Kitsmumma
You must have had a wonderful nights sleep or at least a long sleep in this morning to be so wonderfully poetic at this hour of the day Robert. I love your comments, they always challenge me and make me look at my own work in a completely different light or at least see something I didn’t see before. Thank you so much!
Mugsy

Outstanding work….literally. I was just looking through the ‘Abstract in nature’ group and this image just leaped off the page at me. I love all the filigree shapes among the branches and leaves, and the beautiful subtle shades in the background. Congratulations on this piece…it’s a real treat :-)
Holly Kempe
This would look so wonderful on a wall- fantastic work! :-)
