Oh Sylvia, there is something so beautiful about flowers presented upside down….a few years ago I recall going to a friends house, she had 4 lilies, I believe in a large square vase upside down in water, it worked so wonderfully.

Such a lovely capture, the colours and twirl are uplifting hehe irony as they are upside down :)))

Hi Lisa, that’s a fantastic idea your friend had, I will try that one day, would have a lot of impact. These flowers however, are not upside down. This shot was taken of them exactly as they are growing in the gardent. The plant is quite tall and has very long leaves. The flowers all grow from a centre stem and hang down just like this. I wish I could remember what they are…...... I’ll have to go look them up.
