I took this shot this evening while driving around with my son looking for Christmas lights…...and somehow we wound up at the local cemetery. To me, it was far more beautiful than flashing lights and I found it quite serene (must be the warm summer night air).

Gorgeous Sylvia, at first I thought it was some exotic skyline with mosques and temples, very beautiful light and composition. Yes- very serene, and beats flashing lights hands down.

We have 2 cemetries in town, the ‘old’ and the ‘new’. This was taken in the ‘old’ one which has all these beautifully ornate headstones.

Rebecca, I too thought it looked like a skyline from somewhere exotic or as Paul said, something from a movie set.

Ohh this is great.. I can also see a chess board here the head stones as the pieces. Love the sky and the lighting giving it a more dramatic feel. I find this shot peaceful.. Beautifully done Sylvia..
