oooh, yum!! Thanks so much Trish, makes me happy that you can get that from this image, it’s what I was hoping for, that it would conjur up all sorts of divine, delicious, warm scenarios…........ I’m off to poach some pears!! We have loads of them at the moment.

Oh no, don’t worry! The colors fit really well together and they are really “right” for this composition which also benefits from the overall shape made by the two pears. It has an Old Masters painting character, really!
