Looks a bit like an old film strip. Very cool =D
Kitsmumma replied
Thanks Lorraine, it does a bit, I just kept shooting as this man walked past, I’m sure he was posing, hehe!

this has me asking so many questions … ;-) is the awkward walk the one with sand in the crack? or shoes on sand? thongs on feet? (haha for our english friends!) god i hope that guy’s not the lifeguard! do people stare when you take photos with one camera stacked on top of another camera? great pic, captures the laziness of summer (and of today’s 43C!) very nicely!
Kitsmumma replied
Anyone that wears ‘budgie smugglers’ does the awkward walk.
I always feel a little awkward doing that walk down to the water, hahaha!! and no, I don’t wear them!!! I do get funny looks anywhere I pull out the two cameras but I swear this guy knew I was taking his picture, just look at the way he’s posing!! and the best are the surfers, they love to be photographed and one of the benefits of TTV is that people can’t quite work out what you are photographing as you don’t point it straight at them. I had the camera on the towel in front of me and because you look down into it doesn’t seem like you are taking a picture of anything but the sand!! Hope you’re coping with the heat, not so bad up this way.

haha!!! Thanks Ana.

Love these series. The effect is great. Reminds me of some of my old photos.
Kitsmumma replied
Thanks Dharma. It’s taken through the lens of a 50+ year old camera, dirt and all. The thing I love most about TTV photography is that you are essentially giving a new life to a gorgeous old camera.
