Untouched photograph – effect achieved ‘in-camera’ using a slow shutter speed, panning and the movement created by the wind.

I took this series of abstract photographs over a period of approx 15 minutes, standing under a burgundy coloured cotton sheet that was blowing in the wind.

Using no post-production techniques, Kitsmumma has created an evocative, almost painterly, image. The sense of movement is palpable, yet at the same time the cool hues elicit an overwhelming sense of calm in the viewer.
