This is for Jules, the TtV Queen (no frost this morning!).

The first TtV using my new vintage Argoflex Seventy-five….......................... working on a way to block out reflection!

WOOOHOOO lurvely!!! You understand my frustration with reflection now hey? Check out the contraptions on flickr ‘here’:http://www.flickr.com/groups/throughtheviewfinder/discuss/72157594187496804/
I am thinking I might give in and build something outa cardboard. Pic looks divine!!

  • Kitsmumma replied

hehe, thanks Jules. Yep, I’m comtemplating the hood thing for the moment, which will just be a towel or something. I read somewhere about using a sock, might give that a try. I was so excited when I uploaded this I didn’t even realise I hadn’t given it a title till you commented…......doh! Will check out flickr….............I’m off to walk the streets!

This is great…Love the antique feel that your treatment gives it. The color and texture is superb.

  • Kitsmumma replied

Thanks so much Ian, antique feel from an antique camera, dust and all. This tree is the only colour left in my garden.

totally vintage!love the colour too.Nice one.

  • Kitsmumma replied

Hey flower, thanks so much, it’s much harder than it looks to do these, camera in each hand, one works totally in reverse, glare, reflection, vignetting…........ but total fun.

Truly appreciate your comment Rebecca, thank you. I’m a bit of a nostalgic and sentimental person so love the quality of these images.

The colours in this are scrumptious! Great work Sylvia.

  • Kitsmumma replied

Thank you Rebecca, there’s something about that sky blue and red together isn’t there? I think I may have had a floral dress with those colours when I was a little girl.

    Alison Cornfor...

I love this… reflection and all!

  • Kitsmumma replied

You’re too kind Alison, thank you. I’m working on a way to reduce the reflection although sometimes I think it can add to the shot. Appreciate you lovely comment.

ooooOOOOoooo Sylvia has a new toy! This has such a beautiful old world feel to it.

  • Kitsmumma replied

Too much fun Rhana, a bit tricky but worth the effort. I love the old world/vintage feel of TtV photography. It’s not perfection but that’s not what it’s about, I’ve already had one knocked back from a group for being, OMG!.......................... hazy and out of focus!!!! hehehe!
