My first upload. These are two gems I bought the other week. The first is an Andalusite and the second is a Sapphire. they’re very pretty, don’t you think? _
Stunningly beautiful… I had never heard of a Andalusite before.. It looks like it has some reddish/orange flecks through it? Lovely..
Thanks! I had never heard of it until I said to the gemmologist “Pull out something FUN!” and he did. I’m a gem collector and its good to have this little piece in my collection. Its very like a Sphene in which it has pretty much all the colours of the rainbow in it. Mainly the red, orange, yellow, though. Unfortunately the picture brings out the inclusion in it very well. It has an ingrown crystal in the middle of it. thankyou very much for your comment!
