Update on Our Beautiful Bella by Angela Harburn

Just had to let you know wonderful news after Bella’s follow-up visit to the Vets – they couldn’t find any cancer cells in the biopsy sample from the tumor that was removed from behind her nose!!!

In fact the vet said that he couldn’t believe she was the same cat we had brought to him just over a week ago – she was so very much better – the stitches in her mouth have healed beautifully and she has no more problems breathing and swallowing in fact she has put back all the weight she lost and a bit more besides I think. Even her fur is getting back it’s shine!!!

Although he couldn’t say 100% definitely that the tumor has not been malignant – he did say that he was fairly happy that it more than likely was not.

We are so very relieved as you can imagine – it seems hard to believe that just over a week ago she had almost given up and we felt that if nothing could be done for her we may have to lose her – we just couldn’t have her suffering the way she was.

She will have to stay on medication for quite a while to ensure that the inflammation goes and also ‘just in case’ there has been any cancer – but everything is looking wonderfully positive.

Every extra day we get with her will be a bonus – it is the most fabulous Christmas present anyone could have given us – it feels like a miracle!

Thank you for all your love and good wishes – they have really meant a lot to us – and I’m sure the power of positive, healing thoughts have helped our beautiful girl through her illness.
