So New ....

Little silkie chick was almost out of the shell – the miracle of these wonderful creatures emerging from their eggs will never stop amazing me!

The following morning – Mum and Baby doing fine!

How cute. How amazing that chicks have their eyes opened the following day after being hacked. I dont know about you, but I have often peered into bird nests and the chicks lay there with their eyes shut. How amazing. Nice shot. Well done

In the mother’s womb, a human fetus is all rolled up into a ball, but has stretchable walls to move around. I am amazed at how this little one can be so contorted and so confined in its hard shell. And, such big feet! Notice what was the first thing out!

Wow! The first time I ever had chickens, with no rooster, I took home some fertile eggs, ready to pop under whatever hen looked ready, and as I was putting the eggs in the chook shed, one began to hatch in my hand – an amazing experience, and I regret not having my camera ready at the time. This is such a wonderful picture of life in the raw!I And that leg!!!
